Axial SCX10 Jeep JK on trail at Portland International Auto Show 2013
This past weekend I visited the Portland Auto Show along with ScottG and Brian Parker to visit with Ryan Gerrish and Brett Carlson as they have been doing demo's at the show. With the launch of the SCX10 Jeep Version we talked strategy with Ryan to change up his course design to showcase the SCX10 Jeep JK as this also coincides with Jeeps efforts with Camp Jeep.
Ryan Gerrish, Axial team driver and employee of Tammies Hobbies, and Brett Carlson of Bulu Productions constructed a special demonstration course which showcased the Axial SCX10™ Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. This is their third year to construct the popular attraction and many guests came back specifically to see what they created. We learned this from overhearing many saying they looked forward to seeing Ryan and Brett's creation at the show and made sure to find their location. It was great to see all the smiling faces after driving the vehicles on the radical terrain. The feeling of accomplishment was obvious on the faces of both young and old who drove the rigs over the technical terrain. It's all about providing fun!

AX90027 SCX10™ 2012 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon - Kit
I have the pleasure of being able to call this work as we release the Kit version of our popular and my personal favorite chassis, the Axial SCX10. The particular SCX10 comes with the ever popular Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon body along with Maxxis Trepador tires mounted on Walker Evans Racing Wheels. The vehicle is wrapped in Poison Spyder proptection with the inclusion of the Poison Spyder Rock Brawler Bumpers. This kit also includes the Poison Spyder Rear swing out carrier to mount the spare tire on, just like the full size Jeeps! I did say the Jeep was wrapped, thus the kit also includes the Poison Spyder Crusher Flares to protect to body and to meet the regulatory laws for wheel coverage. This is a very cool package of aftermarket accessories for that scalistic look! We've have also introduced some new ICON Vehicle Dynamics adjustable threaded aluminum shocks. Aside from the 1:1-scale relationship we have with ICON Vehicle Dynamics and brought their look into this package we also delivered on shock performance with the inclusion of precision machined polyoxymethylene pistons for a more precise fluid control. When assembling these shocks, don't forget to grease the caps for a more sealed final assembly.

Just experimenting with time elapse mode on the GoPro.
My daughter and I rode at Wildomar OHV Park today and I shot in time elapse mode with a GoPro at 5 second intervals. I need to shoot in .5 sec or 1sec intervals next time.
